“Branching out to shared ownership has helped a lot, and we’ve managed to be in the house within six months, it’s been a really fast turnaround. Without shared ownership, it would have definitely taken us a lot longer, and it would have taken us a lot longer to find somewhere like this, too."
“I would definitely recommend shared ownership to people, we’ve rented places, but a landlord could sell the property, whereas this can’t happen when you own a percentage of the home, and it gives you more security. There are people who are a lot older than us who’ve never owned a home but with shared ownership, it offers people of all ages a chance to own their own home.
