Visitors to the new Laurus Homes housing development at Orchard Green in Helsby will be greeted by a stunning Christmas lights display, after the scheme’s hoardings were decorated with 250 metres of illuminations.
The display has been funded by Laurus as part of the annual HoHo Helsby fundraiser, and as well the lights the high vis jackets worn by volunteers at the event were also sponsored by Laurus along with Lane End, the contractor building the 118 two, three and four-bedroom homes on the Chester Road site.
Dianne Walker, Chair of HoHo Helsby, said: “It is always great to see local businesses get into the community festive spirit and supporting us with HoHo Helsby. The event was a great success and really gave a boost to the village.
“The festive lights organised by Laurus Homes on Chester Road look fantastic and really brighten up the entrance into the village. We were also grateful to Lane End Group for their donation of the HiVis vests for our volunteer parade marshals; they looked fantastic and really helped to make the day run as smoothly as possible.”
