Tarvin AFC Nets New Kit from Laurus Homes

Tarvin AFC’s Under 13’s football team are enjoying the season with new kit thanks to sponsorship from Laurus Homes.
Laurus, the development arm of Trafford Housing Trust, is working on a number of housing schemes in the area, including nearby Earlsbrook, and was approached by the club about the sponsorship.
Pete Stanley, Coach of Tarvin AFC Under 13’s team – who are currently second in Division Three of the Chester and District Junior Football League - said: “Tarvin prides itself on giving opportunities to children from the local community and surrounding villages to play competitive football in a safe and fun environment, and we are so grateful that Laurus Homes chose to support us for the second season running to help achieve this ambition."
Zac Worthington, Head of Sales at Laurus Homes, said: “Wherever we build our new homes we like to be a part of the local community, and as sports clubs like Tarvin AFC are an integral part of any neighbourhood we were delighted to continue our sponsorship of the club.
“At Laurus we are keen to support grassroots level sports as they can have a positive impact on young people’s lives, helping them stay fit, healthy and active. We’re pleased to be able to support Tarvin AFC and wish them the best of luck for the rest of the season.”
Laurus is building a number of homes in sites throughout Cheshire, including Earlsbrook in Delamere, Weaver Meadows in Winsford and Giantswood Grove in Congleton, whilst plans are in place for a new development at Orchard Green in Helsby.
